The CANrise19 advocacy program allows individuals who were injured/bereaved by the COVID vaccines to connect with volunteer advocates in their area. An advocate's role is to listen to those who are injured/bereaved one-on-one and provide them with local resources to help meet their needs. Additionally, advocates can assist individuals to share their story and support them in navigating the Vaccine Impact Assistance Program (VIAP).

Denise De Monte

Denise, a retired naturopathic doctor (ND) - since 2023 - lives in Coldstream, British Columbia. Her education includes bachelor and master degrees. She has many years of experience working with patients who have been dismissed and marginalized by the public health system. The last 15 years of Denise’s practice were focused on tick borne infections (Lyme and numerous others) and associated chronic conditions. In 2020, she also treated COVID and injuries resulting from the COVID vaccine(s). Denise is passionate about providing emotional/mental support to individuals injured by a vaccine (or who are dealing with a vaccine related death of a loved one).
